Autumn is approaching and we're 9 months into 2019. The weather's been incredibly unpredictable but that hasn't stopped Sheffield having tons of wonderful events and this month is no different so check out all of the cool things to do in Sheffield this month

1st - Antiques Flea Market

Location: Abbeydale Picture House, S7 14S
Cost: £1 entry
A mixture of general Flea Market stalls and specialist Antiques, Vintage, Retro, Arts, Crafts, Makers & Salvage stalls. Kids get free entry and dogs are welcome


5th - Devonshire Gin Art of Distilling

Location: The Devonshire, S3 7SB
Cost: £25
Indulge in an evening of gin tasting and food sampling at Sheffield city centre’s speakeasy-style gin and cocktail bar, The Devonshire. Take a look through the history of gin and how it’s made, whilst sampling some of the finest gins around!


6th - End of Summer Drag Show

Location: Malin Bridge Inn, S6 4JZ

You'll find award-winning performances with stand up comedy, quick wit, live vocals, truckloads of audience participation, comedy mime routines, impersonating and quick change sketches! *Not for the easily offended! 


15th - Home of Football Walk

Location: Crucible entrance, S1 1DA

We begin with a description of Sheffield Mob Football from 1790s and then explore and discuss some of the highlights of Sheffield's unique football heritage, including the world's two oldest clubs Sheffield FC (1857) and Hallam FC (1860); the founding of SWFC and SUFC; the founding of Bramall Lane and Yorkshire Cricket Club


18th - Godiva Chocolate Masterclass

19th - Frank Skinners Showbiz

21st - Masquerade Ball

Location: Sheffield City Hall, S1 2JA

25th -  Vegan Bakes Masterclass

Location: Depot Bakery, S3 8DA
Cost: £65
You’ll spend the evening baking some delicious vegan sponge cakes, which you will decorate to look really impressive. We’ll make some decadent, plant-based fillings together, which you can use to fill and build your masterpieces.


28th -  Cheese Fest UK

Location: Ponds Forge, S1 2BP
Cost: £22.20

CheeseFest promises to be a grand day out for all the family with a jam packed programme of feasting and entertainment hosted by the world’s most famous cheese ambassadors Wallace & Gromit. Kids can enjoy model making, life-size vehicles, film screenings of popular Wallace & Gromit movies, and a meet & greet with Wallace and Gromit themselves. Young and old, all are welcome, so don’t be sheepish! – get involved!

  1. Great post - it looks like there are some super fun things to do in Septemeber! There is a vintage market coming to the city I am living in currently, and I am so excited to (hopefully) find some cool things)!
