No Bake Oreo Bars Recipe

No Bake Oreo Bars

How many of us fancy a sweet treat after a meal but don't have anything in the house? I'm guilty of it every time. But then I don't always fancy doing a huge bake either to make something so I solved all my problems when I created these delicious No Bake Oreo Bars

They couldn't be simpler to make and only have 5 ingredients, I've found creating a traybake of No Bake Oreo Bars and having them stocked in the fridge means I've always got a little treat on hand if my sweet tooth comes calling. You'll only need a little piece of this tray bake to satisfy your craving because they're super sweet.

No Bake Oreo Bars Ingredients

  • 40 Oreos (3 standard packs with a few leftover)
  • 230g Butter (softened)
  • 360g Icing Sugar
  • 2tbsp Milk
  • 1tsp Vanilla

No Bake Oreo Bars Instructions

  1. Before you start split your Oreos and place 10 aside for later, also split your butter so you have 115g in each bowl. One will be for the base and one the delicious Oreo buttercream topping.

  2. Crush 30 oreos into crumbs, you can do this however is easier so a food processor if you have one. I placed them all in a ziplock bag and got smashing with a rolling pin until I had crumbs

  3. Mix the Oreo crumbs with 115g of softened butter and press into a square cake tin. I used this 8x8 loose bottomed cake tin* as it makes it so much easier to release. Once you've pressed the crumb mixture into the tin in an even layer pop it into the fridge to cool

  4. While the base is cooling mix together the icing sugar, butter, milk and vanilla. Beat the mixture together until light and fluffy.

  5. Crush the remaining 10 Oreos into pieces, not too fine so there's some bite and stir them into the buttercream

  6. Spread the Oreo buttercream across your chilled biscuit base and chill until set. Once set pop it out of the tin and cut into bars, squares or however you want to serve. I cut mine into 4x4 squares giving me 16 Oreo square bars

  7. Enjoy your super easy 5 ingredient No Bake Oreo Bars
