Mothers Day 2021: Gift Guide
We're hurtling through 2021 at a crazy speed, can you believe it's March already? I for one definitely haven't recovered from last March but here's hoping the new roadmap means we finally see a way out of this. In the meantime, we've got a small element of Mothers Day 2021 to contend with, in the UK Mothers Day 2021 falls on Sunday 14th March so you've got just under two weeks to make sure your Mother is super pleased with her gifts so lets take a look at my recommendations
For the Mum who enjoys a tipple
We're still a few weeks away from being able to go and enjoy a nice cocktail in a bar so make sure your mum is fully stocked for the remaining weeks of the roadmap to make fancy cocktails at home
Four Roses Bourbon - *Forget a bunch of roses this year, mum will appreciate just the four with these beautiful small batch Bourbon. The bottle resembles that of a rosebud and has delicate little glass roses in the label. You can taste the love and care that goes into every bottle with years of expertise making every sip a special one. Recreate your mum's favourite Bourbon based cocktails such as an old fashioned at home this year
Mermaid Gift Set -* If your mum doesn't have a favourite spirit and loves to try out new things then this Mermaid trio should be right up her street featuring the classic Mermaid spirit, Mermaid Pink Gin and a brand new Mermaid Salt Vodka. Infused with its heritage of the Isle of Wight and completely plastic-free. Your mum can enjoy a premium spirit knowing it's a sustainable one
Cranes Cranberry Gin* - If you mum is settled on which spirit she likes you can't go far wrong with a big bottle of her favourite such as this Cranes Cranberry Gin. It's handcrafter in small batches in Cambridgeshire with over 50 delicious cranberries going into each bottle. It creates a fruity but sharp gin that's ultra smooth. This award winning Gin will go down a treat
Proper Goose Sweet Tin* - Who can resist a sweet treat? Proper Goose was created in 2016 and they create the most beautiful handcrafted personalised gifts. The sweets give a super nostalgic feel and you can pick and choose your mums favourites. Even better she's then got a super cute tin for all of her treats to keep sticky fingers off them
Booja Booja Truffles* - If your mum is more of a chocolate fiend then Booja Booja truffles will be the perfect gift, made by a dedicated team in Norfolk they're vegan, dairy-free, organic and mouthwateringly delicious. The ingredients are high quality and utterly melt in the mouth
Oggs Zesty Lemon Cake* - Because I don't ever need an excuse to have cake and I think every occasion should be celebrated we've got the delicious zesty lemon cake from Oggs. Every slice is zingy and light and even better the cake is Vegan too so you can eat every slice guilt free
Popcorn Shed - Just because you can't get to the cinema doesn't mean you can't have a movie night complete with movie night snacks. Popcorn Shed make the best Mother's day gifts* with a unique artisan cooking process you can be certain the popcorn will be super tasty and with a plethora of flavour combinations of sweet and salty you're bound to find something that suits
For the beauty conscious mum
Forever Living Hydrating Serum* - My mum absolutely loves when I gift her beauty goodies. She wouldn't normally buy these things for herself and trusts my judgement. The Forever Living Hydrating Serum is an award winning Anti-ageing product containing four types of hyaluronic acid to boost hydration. It leaves skin feeling plump while reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It's such a lovely product that feels so luxiorious that your mum is sure to love it
El Camino Bracelet* - If you're looking to buy something special for your mum then an El Camino Bracelet is the perfect gift. In a year when we've not been able to travel a lot it's a lovely gift to look back on all the wonderful trips you have been on. Personal charms to mark special locations and beautiful blue beads for the oceans you've passed make this a unique gift that you can keep on building and growing as we're allowed to travel again
For Mothers Day Fun
Epic Escapes * - It's going to be another Mothers Day in lockdown which means typical activities might be out of bounds. But just because you're home doesn't mean you can't bring the fun to you. Epic Escapes is an escape room in a box allowing you to create your own escape room from the comfort of your home. It contains 3 seperate escape challenges which will bring fun for all the family and master sleuths out there. Keep a look out on the blog for my full review of this (spoiler alert - it was AMAZING and I highly recommend it for a change in lockdown activities)
Treasure Trails -* This is one that as lockdown slowly eases and we're allowed to go further a field for our exercise breaks will be so much fun to do as a family. Treasure trails provide a fun way to explore your local area. With a plethora of cities, towns and villages available you can go on your own little adventure outdoors, get to know your home town a little better and most importantly have fun. A fab gift that the whole family will enjoy for a day out
So there we have it - lots of fun gifts your mum is bound to love!
